In recent years, education has become an increasingly central concern for stakeholders, who recognise the many benefits of digitising the education sector.
For the first time in Niger, a national education portal is available. It provides unified access to the digital resources of the national education system. The portal aims to give all users — Ministry staff, teachers, individual users and others — secure, interactive access to these resources while preserving their availability, the authenticity of information and the uniqueness of each digital resource.
Today, institutions need to monitor their development, analyse the information their data can provide and build knowledge from it. At regional level, access to comprehensive education data gives stakeholders an overview of the sector and its potential, helping them offer improvements and a personalised experience so everyone can access the information they need.

On 14 October 2022, the official launch ceremony for the EDU-NIGER national unified education portal took place at the Bravia Hotel.
We are pleased to share the highlights of the launch, held under the patronage of the Minister of National Education on 14 October 2022 at the Bravia Hotel.
For four months, i-FUTUR worked alongside the Ministry as its technology partner to deliver Niger’s unified education portal. Its main components include the institutional website, digital library, intranet, messaging and a workflow system that will enable the Ministry of National Education to digitise business procedures previously handled on paper.
Throughout this period, i-FUTUR took an inclusive approach with all Ministry departments, technical and financial partners, the Education Cluster, ANSI-Niger and the Ministry of Digital Economy to make the mission a success. It was the culmination of a long support process, and we are delighted with its progress. This productive collaboration allowed us to complete the mission successfully and proudly hand over the product.
The portal aims to offer every user of the national education system secure, interactive access to its digital resources while preserving their availability, the authenticity of information and the uniqueness of each resource.
We have chosen to support every sector in its move towards paperless processes. We have addressed the lack of access to information for a large share of the population, and we continue tackling other challenges.
